Screencasting
Screencasting is a way to project what is on the instructor’s screen to the students. It works extremely well for lectures, showing videos, or highlighting key features. Many teachers may already have a similar method to showcase what’s on their screen to bigger screens, but some screencasting features offer much more than just projection.
“Screencasting is a technique where the computer screen is captured in a video while an audio recording is being made. In this way, students can receive oral feedback in conjunction with written corrective feedback,” (Bush, 2021, p. 1).
