Artificial Intelligence

AI has been talked about for many years. There are numerous movies and TV shows about all types of Artificial Intelligence. And recently, “AI has received substantial attention in the twenty-first century by powerful business interests, researchers, governments, and the public,” (Schiff, 2021, p. 331). However, it is finally time for classrooms to get AI. The Horizon Trends Reports (2020) says it is already being used in classrooms, but there are other ways to use AI including being used by instructors to give feedback and act as a “virtual teaching assistant”. They even mention how Amazon’s Alexa now is being used to help translate between teachers, parents, and students.
